Just minutes from the NJ turnpike, I-287, Route 18, and the NJ Transit New Brunswick station, the Rutgers Geology Museum is just a short trip away! The museum is located on the historic Old Queens Campus in the heart of New Brunswick, New Jersey at the following address.

Car Parking

You can park your car at any of the parking meters on George Street, Hamilton Street, Somerset Street, or College Avenue or at any of the garages or non-Rutgers lots labeled ‘P” in the area. On weekends, you will have free access to some of the Rutgers parking lots.

Bus Parking

If you are arriving by bus, the bus driver will have to stop outside of the iron gates to dismiss people and must then proceed to either Busch or Livingston campus and park either next to the football stadium on Busch or next to the basketball stadium on Livingston. There is no space to park buses on the College Avenue Campus.

Visitor Permits

Visitors to the University may request a one day parking permit for the cost of $5.00 per day through the online request system. This option may only be used by people who are not affiliated with Rutgers in any way.
