 *The Rutgers Geology Museum is currently open to the Rutgers Community only on Thursdays and Fridays, 10AM to 4PM.*

For Rutgers groups or courses larger than 6 people, please fill out our Small Group Visit Request Form.

Academic Year: Labor Day to Mid-May

We are now open to the Rutgers Community only during the below times:
Saturday - Wednesday: Closed
Thursday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Please note that these hours may change. Please check before making a trip to visit us. 

  

2021-2022 Closure Dates

  • Thanksgiving Break: November 22, 2021 - November 28, 2021
  • Rutger Winter Break: December 24, 2021 - January 17, 2022
  • Rutgers Spring Break: March 12, 2022 - March 20, 2022

Holiday Schedule

The museum will be closed on Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and during the weeks of Rutgers Spring and Winter Breaks, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
