The Rapscallion Club Book PartyThe Rapscallion Club

Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013 from 7 to 8 pm
Free for all ages!

Join the Club!  The Rapscallion Club’s International Exploratorium and High Adventure Road Show and Book Release Party.

An all ages event featuring author Alex Dawson, tusk tickler (i.e. piano man) Shayfer James, stick fighter and brolly brawler Sir Ogden Blatherskite, and, of course, THE RAPSCALLION CLUB, an archeological adventure story for precocious children and nostalgic adults!

What do French fry contests, bullet ants, and the lost art of umbrella combat have in common with dead pirates, island treasure and an excoriated Titanic  survivor named Sir Cosmo Duff Gordon? A ten year old boy from New Jersey finds out when he travels to Peru by way of an underground tunnel that magically connects the cellar of his house to the basement of the South American Explorers Club, an eccentric and possibly haunted establishment chock-a-block with bones, stones, tusks and teeth.

Don’t miss this eclectic, super-charged mix of author reading, show-and-tell session, strength demonstration, umbrella combat exhibition, musical performance, and book signing, all in under sixty minutes!

For more info (reviews, excerpts, illustrations, etc.), visit www.rapscallionclub.com.
